The purpose of the Debt Collection Supervisor position is to lead and manage the team of debt collectors, ensuring the effective recovery of outstanding accounts in the telephony and retail sector. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the team’s performance, implementing collection strategies and maintaining a positive relationship with customers.


What you’ll do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the collections team, ensuring that recovery goals are met.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and facilitate the collection process.
  • Maintain accurate records of team activities and report results to management.

What you’ll need

  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate the team and handle objections in collection situations.
  • Proactive, responsible and empathetic attitude.
  • Experience in collections or supervision is a plus, but not mandatory.
